Andrea Albert

Andrea Albert is an astrophysicist at Los Alamos National Lab in New Mexico USA. She received her PhD from Ohio State searching for signals in gamma rays from space from dark matter interactions. She continues her hunt for dark matter at Los Alamos using the High Altitude Water Cherenkov Observatory (HAWC); a telescope made of 300 tanks of water. In her spare time she does Zumba and hangs out with her husband Dylan and their two cats Ben and Marty. Andrea will be appearing as an Avatar in the Space Messengers installation. Ask her anything!
