Come experience the Space Messengers, an exploration of the universe created by artists, scientists and students collaborating from around the world. This immersive mixed reality installation involved extensive research working with experts in the field of astrophysics, particle physics, space science, philosophy and native science who contributed to the content for the installation. Through interactive projections, virtual reality experiences and ‘space messages’ we share the importance of artistic, scientific and humanistic literacy, expand our identity as planetary citizens, and reimagine a peaceful and sustainable interplanetary future for all.
Space Messengers is made possible in part by the Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund for U.S. Alumni; an opportunity sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by Partners of the Americas. This project is supported in part by New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, the National Endowment for the Arts, U.S. Embassy of Portugal, LANL Foundation, Taos Community Foundation, NM International Trade Alliance, Q Station and Intel.
